ENUM Validation
An ENUM domain name is tied with the underlying E.164 telephone number. The process of verifying whether or not the Registrant of an ENUM domain name is identical to the Assignee of the corresponding E.164 number is called "validation". For this reason you may only apply for the ENUM that matches an existing E.164 number that you hold.
Validation must also be completed annually to ensure you are still entitled to the ENUM domain name.
Before applying for an ENUM with a registrar you must have completed a validation process with an authorised validation agent, who will issue a validation "token".
Safenames is an approved validation agent and can issue validation tokens for use with Safenames or any other ENUM registrar. Safenames have developed an ENUM web-portal to streamline the registration process, and to make the validation step as simple as possible.

Validation Requirements
The following items are required to complete the validation process:
- Proof of identity (e.g. Company registration document / Passport / Driving License / ID Card)
- Telephone bill for each number or block of numbers
- Receive a call back from Safenames to your telephone number
